Hi there,

Stumbled upon your site while looking for a solution to my DRM question, was wondering if you could share some of your expertise?

Anyways I'm trying to do an export in Generation format (name & Description as ancestor columns), but I wish to exclude the top parent node (i.e. removing the first column).

So far haven't found a way to do so. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated!

Not sure exactly what you're asking Violy but I think the Automator will do the job for you. If you got any more questions, do write again

Other than manually creating and defining a property in DRM, is there a way to upload properties to a newly set up DRM? In the migration utility tool, there's an option to extract (to document and archive different versions) and to load. Is this the Load option the way to do a mass upload of static properties for HFM and Planning?

Firstly you can control the property categories assigned to a user. Just go to Tools | Property Category and then select which user should have which category. These category will appear as a tab along side with the default. Secondly, you cannot restrict sysadmin role from not seeing a category. Sysadmin role in DRM sees everything.

I have problem. When i create a hierarchy and see the property at top node, I am seeing all the property categories in the system. But i wanted to limit the view to all users including sysadmin, to see only related property categories with default categories. All not related property categories of that particular hierarchy should not be visible to anybody. can you please let me know how to do that.
